U100は、「Under 100W/㎡」（1平方メートル当りの空調熱負荷を100W以下に）と、100年保つ建築の「Up to 100 Years」を意味しています。建築・不動産業界における2050年の環境目標と、サーキュラーエコノミーの実現を目指す企業・個人のイニシアチブです。
The U100 Initiative, based in Japan, is an ambitious initiative in the architecture and real estate industry aimed at achieving environmental goals by 2050 and realizing a circular economy. The U100 stands for two main principles: 'Under 100W/m²' to maintain air conditioning and cooling loads under 100 watts per square meter, and 'Up to 100 Years' for a building's lifetime.
